Wynn Macau will name the second phase of its development on a site in Cotai the Wynn Diamond and the location will mainly feature non-gaming facilities, local media reported. The facilities will include a 15,000-seat arena called the Wynn Diamond Coliseum and larger hotel rooms of about 120 square metres each. The US$4-billion first phase, called Wynn Palace, is under construction and should be finished by Lunar New Year in 2016. Wynn did not say if it will seek more gaming tables for the second phase. Wynn Macau $600 million in notes this month was an easy sale in an avid market for Asian gaming debt.
